Hive Collective was selling specialized DevOps expertise into staffing and recruiting, one of the hardest spaces for cold outbound, where prospects are buried in generic recruiter messages. We built a job-scrape-driven system that reached engineering leaders before roles hit aggregators, pairing each touch with look-alike talent proof, and pulled in high-signal replies from top-tier organizations including Stanford University.

Hive Collective is a DevOps consulting firm that serves as a "DevOps-department-in-a-box" for growing technology companies. Founded in Toronto and working with clients across North America, Hive specializes in making complex infrastructure challenges simple. From Docker containerization and continuous deployment systems to cloud architecture and autoscaling, they deliver the kind of DevOps expertise that was once only available to companies like Apple and Google.

The Situation

Hive faced a challenge familiar to anyone in the B2B services space: how do you reach decision-makers at the exact moment they need your expertise? But recruiting for DevOps services adds an extra layer of complexity.
